Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 26-Mar. 3) is baseball player Alez Beelen. The senior shortstop from Holland, Michigan homered and doubled to lead the Yellow Jackets to a season-opening 6-0 win at Clearwater Christian on Thursday, March 1. He added two more hits in the second game of the twinbill - a 13-1 victory. Beelen was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI's in a 12-4 setback at Southeastern University on Saturday, March 3 in Lakeland, Florida.
