Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 4-10) is basketball player Kayla Jenerette. The 5-foot-5 sophomore guard from Greenville, South Carolina sparked the Lady Jackets to the NCCAA Midwest Region championship with a 69-64 win over Grace College on Wednesday, March 7 in the Callan Athletic Center. Jenerette scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the second half to rally CU to their 11th consecutive victory and an automatic berth in the NCCAA National Tournament. She capped the week being voted the 2011-12 Ohio Independent Championship Women's Basketball Player of the Year as a First Team selection.
