Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 4-10) is basketball performer Zimmy Nwogbo. The 6-foot-7 junior forward from Lithonia, Georgia scored 22 points with five rebounds, four assists and two steals in CU's 90-75 scorching of Spring Arbor in the title game of the NCCAA Midwest Region on Wednesday, March 7 in the Callan Athletic Center. The Yellow Jackets return to the NCCAA National Tournament for the first time in ten years. On Friday, March 9 Nwogbo was voted the Ohio Independent Championship Newcomer of the Year as a member of the OIC First Team.
