The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 8-14) is softball pitcher Cecelia DeBartolo. The freshman righthander from Cedarville, Ohio fired a complete-game one-hitter in a 3-0 win over visiting Walsh University on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the opening game of a doubleheader with the Cavaliers. DeBartolo took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, but it was broken up with a one-out infield single. She finished the game with five strikeouts and two walks while pushing her record to 10-5. DeBartolo was also the winning hurler in an 8-7 win on Friday, April 13 in the seconfd game of a twinbill at West Virginia State in Institute, West Virginia.
