Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 15-21) is baseball player Alex Beelen. The senior shorstop from Holland, Michigan registered a .520 batting average (13-for-25) in six games last week for the Yellow Jackets. Beelen's hitting effort included  three doubles, two triples, eight runs scored and four RBI's as Cedarville went 5-1 on the week. His 20 total bases in the six games was tops on the team and he committed just one error in 25 chances in the field.
