Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female CEDARVILLE Subway Athlete of the Week (April 22-28) is softball pitcher Cecelia DeBartolo. The freshman righthander from Cedarville, Ohio pitched two complete game victories at the NCCAA Midwest Regional in Spring Arbor, Michigan on Friday, April 27. DeBartolo allowed just three hits with a season-high 13 strikeouts in a 3-2 eight-inning victory over host Spring Arbor. She checked #1 seed Indiana Wesleyan on four hits in a 6-0 shutout win in the semifinals. Saturday's final game were rained out, thus giving the Lady Jackets a second consecutive regional banner.
