Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 2-8) is volleyball performer Hannah Wagner. The 6-2 sophomore outside hitter from Claremont, California helped lead the Lady Jackets to five wins during the wee. She pounded 18 kills as CU battled visiting Malone to a five-set victory on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Wagner totalled 18 kills versus Mars Hill in the opening match of the Charleston Invitational on Friday, Sept. 7. She added three kills in a 3- verdict over Chowan. In the second day of action in Charleston, West Virginia, Wagner put down nine kills in a 3-0 sweep of Virginia Union and 13 kills with five blocks in a 3-1 win over the host Golden Eagles. CU is 9-0 to begin the 2012 season.
