Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 30-Oct. 6) is soccer player Jacoby Ziegler. The freshman forward from Wellington, Ohio helped the Lady Jackets to a pair of victories on the home turf last week. Ziegler deflected in a shot in the 96th minute to give CU a 3-2 overtime verdict over Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday, Oct. 2. She assisted older sister Morgan on the first goal and then got the insurance goal on an assist from Morgan in the 53rd minute to secure a 2-0 win versus Ursuline on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 6.
