The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week is volleyball middle hitter Tori Thompson. The 6-foot-1 freshman from Columbus, Ohio helped the Lady Jackets to the first-ever title of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference volleyball tournament. Thompson, named the G-MAC Freshman of the Year on Friday, Nov. 16, followed up with a season-high 16 kills in a three-set sweep of Ursuline in the semifinals. In the finals on Saturday, Nov. 17 Thompson added nine kills in a 3-1 win over Trevecca Nazarene in the Callan Athletic Center.
