Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Nov. 25-Dec. 1) is soccer player Steve Ellis. The 6-foot-2 senior defender from Irwin, Pennsylvania was honored with the National Christian College Athletic Association's (NCCAA) Division I prestigious Kyle Rote, Jr. Award on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Ellis, who missed just three starts during his four-year Yellow Jacket career, was a two-year team captain and the 2012 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Defender of the Year. The presentation was made during the NCCAA National Soccer Tournament Banquet in Kissimmee, Florida.
