Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 2-8) is track & field performer James Blackwell. The sophomore from Clare, Michigan totaled 4,455 points to place fourth in the heptathlon at the Findlay Open on Friday-Saturday, Dec. 7-8 in Findlay, Ohio. Blackwell's effort is the third-highest point total all-time for the Yellow Jackets. He tied for second in the pole vault as his best event clearing 4.35 meters.
