The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 3-9) is track & field distance runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania ran one of the top 5,000 meter times in Yellow Jacket history at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. Brooker produced a 14:39.24 effort - second-best all-time at CU - to place 11th of 141 runners in the race. The non-scoring meet was held in Allendale, Michigan at the Kelly Family Sports Center.
