Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 17-23) is basketball player Zimmy Nwogbo. The 6-foot-7 senior forward from Lithonia, Georgia produced two more outstanding efforts in a pair of Yellow Jacket road victories. Nwogbo erupted for 25 points as CU clinched the Great Midwest Athletic Conference regular season title in a 74-69 win at Central State on Tuesday, Feb. 19. He added a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds in a 79-72 non-conference win at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio on Saturday, Feb. 23. The Jackets finished the regular season on a nine-game winning streak.
