Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 10-16) is basketball player Austin Foote. The 6-foot senior guard from Castle Rock, Colorado led the Yellow Jackets to a third-place finish at the 2013 NCCAA National Tournament. Foote averaged 20 points in three games for Cedarville and was named to the All-Tournament Team. He added seven assists, six rebounds and seven steals to his efforts. The #2 seed Jackets posted wins over #7 seed Tennessee Temple (87-58) and #1 seed Fresno Pacific (91-82) while dropping a 79-66 verdict to #3 seed Oklahoma Christian. The eight-team event was held March 13-16 at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
