Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 21-27) is women's tennis player Maryssa Herbert. The sophomore from Milford, Michigan supplied two points in the Lady Jackets' 5-2 win over Spring Arbor in the opening round of the NCCAA Midwest Regional. Herbert teamed with Melissa Stoltzfus at #3 doubles for an 8-4 win before posting a 6-3, 6-1 verdict at #6 singles. In the Region Final, Herbert was part of the lone CU point - coming again at #3 doubles with Stoltzus - as Cedarville fell 8-1 to Indiana Wesleyan. The three-team event was held in Marion, Indiana.
