Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 15-21) is sophomore basketball player Matt Harner. The 6-3 guard from Cedarville, Ohio led the Yellow Jackets to American Mideast Conference road victories at Houghton and Roberts Wesleyan. Harner was 6-for-9 from deep for 18 points in the 69-53 win over Houghton on Friday, Feb. 20. He scored 22 of his 24 points in the second half in CU's 71-66 verdict at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, Feb. 21. With the wins, the Yellow Jackets clinched a share of the AMC championship and locked up a berth to the NAIA Division II National Tournament.
