The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 19-25) is track & field performer James Blackwell. The junior from Clare, Michigan won the pole vault competition at the Youngstown State Invitational on Friday, Jan. 24 in Youngstown, Ohio. Blackwell, an NCAA II qualifier last season in the indoor heptathlon and outdoor decathlon, cleared 15-feet 7-inches to win by six inches.
