The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 9-15) is track & field distance runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania lowered his school record in the 5,000 meters at the Grand Valley State Big Meet in Allendale, Michigan on Friday, Feb. 14. Brooker placed fourth overall with a time of 14:27.18 - taking more than nine seconds off the record he set at Penn State two weeks ago.
