Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 2-8) is softball player Kelsey Chapman. The senior catcher/pitcher from Townsend, Delaware produced a stellar week at the plate and in the circle for the Lady Jackets. Chapman batted .382 with a team-high 13 hits, five doubles, a triple, ten RBI's, eight runs and 20 total bases. The right-hander fired two complete game victories with 15 strikeouts and did not allow an earned run. CU went 9-2 for the week and returns home from the spring break trip in Florida with a 12-3 record.
