Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week is baseball performer Sam Summerlin. The junior shortstop from O'Fallon, Illinois batted a team-best .478 on an 11-for-23 performance at the plate in six games played last week as part of the spring break trip in Clearwater, Florida. Summerlin's effort included four runs scored, a double, three RBI's and a team-leading 12 total bases and three stolen bases. The Jackets went 3-3 and return home with an 8-5 overall record.
