Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 16-22) is baseball catcher Jaden Cleland. The freshman from Springfield, Ohio came through in the clutch in two G-MAC victories on Saturday, Mar. 22 over visiting Salem International at Yellow Jacket Field. In the first game, Cleland drilled a pinch-hit, game-tying two-RBI double and then came around to score the eventual game-winning run in a 6-5 victory. In the nightcap, Cleland's two-out single drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth to give the Jackets an 11-10 victory.
