Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 11-17) is softball player Carlyn Hanzel. The sophomore outfielder from Sterling, Virginia produced a .500 batting average including a double and a home run in three games at the NCCAA Softball Championships last week. Hanzel also led the squad in hits, total bases and slugging percentage. The ten-team event was held at the Botetourt Sports Complex in Troutville, Virginia.
