Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The final male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (June 1-8) is distance runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania was voted the 2013-14 Yellow Jacket Male Athlete of the Year in voting by Cedarville University head coaches. He became Cedarville's first NCAA All-American in any sport when he finished 28th out of 248 competitors at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championship on Nov. 23 in Spokane, Washington. Brooker placed 14th of 20 competitors in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA II Track & Field Championships on May 22 in Allendale, Michigan.
