Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 5-11) is basketball player Kayla Linkous. The 5-foot-10 junior forward from New Madison, Ohio helped lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference wins on the road. Linkous produced game-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds in an 87-51 win over Davis & Elkins on Thursday, Jan. 8. She came up with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in CU's 75-35 victory against Alderson Broaddus on Saturday, Jan. 10.
