Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

For the second straight week, the female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 12-18) is basketball player Kayla Linkous. The 5-foot-10 junior forward from New Madison, Ohio posted a pair of double-doubles in Lady Jacket home wins over Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponents. On Thursday, Jan. 15 Linkous erupted for career-highs of 34 points and 13 rebounds in a 78-73 victory agains Kentucky Wesleyan. She followed up on Saturday, Jan. 17 with 15 points and 11 rebounds as CU defeated Trevecca, 69-59, to remain undefeated in the G-MAC.
