Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 26-Feb. 1) is basketball player Breanne Watterworth. The 6-foot-3 freshman center from Lake Orion, Michigan helped lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of wins in the Callan Athletic Center. On Thursday, Jan. 29 she scored 15 points with eight rebounds in an 85-40 non-conference victory against Wilberforce. Watterworth added 14 points and three rebounds in an 89-62 Great Midwest Athletic Conference win over Central State on Saturday, Jan. 31. She was 12-for-17 from the field and 5-for-7 from the free throw line in the two contests.
