Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 2-8) is basketball performer Raegan Ryan. The 5-foot-5 senior guard from Canisteo, New York led the #1-seed Lady Jackets to their first-ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament championship. Ryan hit for 19 points in a 60-53 semifinal win over #5-seed Central State on Thursday, Mar. 6. She followed up with a 26-point performance including a 12-13 effort at the free throw line in a 63-52 victory against #3-seed Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, Mar. 7. Just before the start of the tournament, held in CU's Callan Athletic Center, Ryan was announced as the 2014-15 G-MAC Player of the Year.
