Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 16-22) is track & field performer Carsyn Koch. The freshman middle distance runner from Washburn, Maine helped the Lady Jackets to a runner-up finish at the Emory Invitational on Fri.-Sat., March 20-21. Koch won the 800 meters with a 2:09.49 effort - just 0.30 seconds off the CU school record. She was part of a school-record first-place outing in the 4 x 800 meter relay (9:04.08) and a runner-up performance in the 4 x 400 meter relay (3:56.18). The 27-team event was held in Atlanta, Georgia.
