The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 11-17) is baseball player Drew Johnson. The sophomore third baseman from Cincinnati, Ohio was named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region Player of the Year. Johnson also earned Daktronics D II All-Midwest Region Second Team and American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings D II Midwest All-Region Second Team honors. Johnson started all 47 games for Cedarville and led the club with a .389 batting average. He also was tops in at bats (198), hits (77), doubles (15), triples (8), home runs (5), RBI's (41), runs scored (42), total bases (142), on base percentage (.440), and slugging percentage (.621).
