Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Nov. 2-8) is soccer player Carly Gregory. The senior defender from Springfield, Ohio shut down the G-MAC's leading scorer in the #4 seed Lady Jacket 1-0 semifinal verdict at #1 seed Davis & Elkins on Thursday, Nov. 5. Gregory then delivered the game-winning goal in CU's 1-0 win over #3 seed Ursuline in the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The victory is the first women's soccer conference title for Cedarville and the G-MAC's first-ever automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
