The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Nov. 30-Dec.6) is basketball player J.C Faubion. The 6-foot-5 junior guard from Indianapolis, Indiana helped lead the Yellow Jackets to three non-conference home wins last week. Faubion came off the bench to score 24 points in a 77-65 victory over Ohio Christian on Tues., Dec. 1 and tallied eight points in a 77-76 win against Miami-Middletown on Thurs., Dec. 3. He exploded for a career-high 35 points including 12 in overtime to lead CU to a 90-81 victory over Cincinnati Christian on Sat., Dec. 5. Faubion, who also grabbed 10 rebounds, capped a late Yellow Jacket surge in regulation with a game-tying three-point basket with 4.5 seconds remaining.
