The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 30-Dec. 6) is basketball player Kayla Linkous. The 5-foot-11 senior forward from New Madison, Ohio led the Lady Jackets to a pair of non-conference wins on the home floor last week. Linkous scored her 1,000th career point as Cedarville pulled away in the second half to defeat Ohio Christian 85-48 on Tues., Dec. 1. She produced a double-double including her 500th career rebound in an 88-26 win over Wilberforce on Sat., Dec. 5. Linkous tallied 16 points and 11 boards in the victory.
