Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (January 25-31) is track & field sprinter Andre Klaassen. The junior from Louisville, Kentucky broke his own school record in the 200 meter dash to highlight the Yellow Jackets' showing  at the Spire Midwest Open on Friday, Jan. 30 in Geneva, Ohio. Klaassen was timed in 22.34 seconds to place 9th overall out of 111 competitors. Since the race was on a 300 meter track, the time converts to an official mark of 22.74.
