Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 8-14) is basketball player Baylee Bennett. The 5-foot-5 junior guard from Springfield, Ohio helped lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of G-MAC road wins in West Virginia. Bennett tossed in 15 points including three three-point FG's while adding three assists in a 76-72 victory at Alderson Broaddus on Thurs., January 11. She followed up with a team-high 26 points including the game-winning three-pointer in an 89-88 thriller at Davis & Elkins. Bennett tied her own school record with eight long range baskets in a single game.
