Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 26-Mar. 4) is baseball player Ross Melchior. The junior shortstop from Cheyenne, Wyoming batted .500 in two games including a pair of HR's and four runs batted in. Melchior blasted his first collegiate home run in a 12-11 victory over Rockhurst on Friday, Mar. 2 at the Sunshine State Games in Kissimmee, Florida. He added another long ball in a setback at NCBWA #4 Florida Southern on Saturday, Mar. 3 in Lakeland, Florida.
