The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Apr. 30-May 6) is track & field pole vaulter Tommy Ansiel. The freshman from Warrenville, Illinois broke the meet record with one of the best marks in school history at the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship held last week in Hillsdale, MI. Ansiel cleared a personal-best 16-9.50 which rates #5 on the Yellow Jacket all-time list and is currently 10th in the NCAA II this season. The Yellow Jackets placed fifth overall in the 12-team event.
