The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (Sept. 2-8) is golfer Jared Hoelzen. The junior from West Burlington, Iowa led all G-MAC golfers at the Ohio Dominican Classic with scores of 73-69-142 (-2) to place third overall on Tuesday, Sept. 4 in Blacklick, Ohio. Hoelzen, named the first G-MAC Men's Golfer of the Week for 2018-19, tied for the third-lowest 18 and 36-hole scores in school history.
