The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 9-15) is cross country runner Kayla Casaletto. The senior from Goshen, Indiana was the runner-up as the Lady Jackets placed third at the 28th Annual Friendship Invitational. Casaletto toured the 5,000 meters of CU's Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in 18:32.9 on Saturday, Sept. 15.
