Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Oct. 4-10) is again cross country runner Katie Gillespie. The freshman from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio ran to victory at the DePauw/Rose-Hulman Invitational in Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, Oct. 10. Gillespie led the NAIA #8 Lady Jackets to a runner-up finish in the university division behind Purdue. She won her second title of the season by 39 seconds with a time of 21:58 over the 6,000 meter NCAA championship course.
