The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (January 13-19) is basketball performer Grant Zawadzki. The 6-foot senior guard from Tipp City, Ohio averaged 12.5 ppg with 21 assists and 7 steals in a pair of home G-MAC wins over Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins. Zawadzki tallied 19 points in a 72-56 verdict against AB on Thursday, Jan. 17. He followed up with a career-high 13 assists in the 88-71 Yellow Jacket win versus D&E on Saturday, Jan. 19.
