For the second-consecutive time, the Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (February 10-16) is track & field distance runner Carsyn Johnson. The graduate student from Washburn, Maine led the Lady Jackets to their second straight NCCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship banner. Koch-Johnson, named the Athlete of the Meet, won the 800 meters (2:16.15), the mile (4:59.82) and was part of the winning 4 x 400 meter relay squad (3:56.29). The fourteen-team event was held on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 15-16 in CU's Doden Field House.
