Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (March 10-16) is softball player Kara Eiginger. The junior catcher from Jacksonville, Florida went 8-for-16 at the plate including two doubles, a triple and a home run in six games played. Eiginger added five runs and seven RBI's while compiling 15 total bases for a .938 slugging percentage. The week included a Great Midwest doubleheader sweep at Ohio Valley and two games against NFCA II #10 Grand Valley State. The NFCA II #19 Lady Jackets went 3-3 and are now 15-5 overall.
