Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (March 10-16) is basketball player Conner TenHove. The 6-foot-7 sophomore forward from Valparaiso, Indiana averaged 13 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while adding seven assists and three steals at the 2019 NCCAA I National Tournament in Winona Lake, Indiana. The #1 seed Yellow Jackets defeated #8 Nebraska Christian (80-58) and #4 Bluefield (72-59) before garnering their second NCCAA national banner with a 64-58 hard-fought victory over #2 Roberts Wesleyan. TenHove was named the Tournament Most Outstanding Player and Cedarville completed the 2018-19 season with a 21-12 record.
