Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Mar. 31-Apr. 6) is track & field middle distance runner Carsyn Johnson. The graduate student from Washburn, Maine made a successful outdoor debut by winning the 800 meters at the University of Cincinnati Invitational on Saturday, April 6 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Johnson placed first of 34 participants with a time of 2:08.13 and met the NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifying mark. 

The Lady Jackets' totaled 17 points which placed them 11th in the meet which included eight NCAA Division I schools.
