Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The final female Courtyard Marriott Springfield Athlete of the Week is 2018-19 Yellow Jacket Club Athlete of the Year Carsyn Johnson. The graduate student from Washburn, Maine, selected for the honor by a vote of CU head coaches, earned her seventh NCAA Division II All-America accolade with a seventh place finish at the 2019 indoor championship. Koch-Johnson was the NCCAA Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet after winning three events and leading Cedarville to its second straight title. The two-time Division II outdoor 800 meter champion, owned the #4 time in the country and qualified for the event in Kingsville, Texas this spring.
