The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 1-7) is cross country runner Alayna Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan led the Lady Jackets to the Indiana Wesleyan Classic championship on Friday, Sept. 6 in Marion, Indiana. Ackley finished sixth overall with a time of 18:34.2 over the 5K layout as CU placed three runners in the top eight to win the 16-team event.
