Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 22-28, 2019) is distance runner Alayna Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan helped guide the Lady Jackets to fifth-place in the 39th Annual All-Ohio Women's Championship on Saturday, Sept. 28 at CU's Elvin R. King Cross Country Course. Ackley produced a personal-best 6K effort of 22:28.4 to finish sixth of 282 participants at the 42-team event.
