Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Oct. 27-Nov. 2) is soccer player Olivia Hoffman. The sophomore forward from Chattanooga, Tennessee helped the Lady Jackets to a pair of G-MAC victories. Hoffman tallied the game-winner in the 103rd minute to give CU a 1-0 win overtime win against Trevecca on Thursday, Oct. 31 in a game played at Wright State. She figured in on all three goals in a 3-0 Senior Day win over Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 2. Hoffman assisted on the first goal, drew a foul in the box that led to a PK for the second goal and drilled home her team-leading sixth goal of the year to complete the victory.
