Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (Oct. 27-Nov. 2) is soccer performer Gui Fernandes. The junior forward from Sao Paulo, Brazil fired in the game-winner in the 25th minute as CU posted a 2-1 G-MAC verdict against Trevecca on Thursday, Oct. 31 at Wright State University. Fernandes tallied a game-tying score in the 81st minute and Cedarville went on to record a 2-1 G-MAC overtime win over upset-minded Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Yellow Jacket Field.
