The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (December 1-7, 2019) is track & field performer Ryan Rager. The junior sprinter from Van Wert, Ohio broke his own school record in the 200 meters as CU opened the indoor season at the UIndy Season Opener on Friday, Dec. 6 in Indianapolis. Rager posted a winning time of 22.54 seconds to take 0.05 off of the previous mark he set at the 2019 Cedarville Collegiate Invitational.
